The Legend of Ancient Sword is a game about sword, mixed with love, hate, joy, sadness and
other emotions.

let me first introduce the main characters.
Tusu's original name is Han Yunxi.He had a tragedy in his childhood,which totally changed his personality.

He always avoids contact with others. He has few words. He is tough.

Qingxue is a very innocent girl.
She is bold, straightforward,

optimistic,warmhearted,kind and gentle.
翻
Xiangling is a little childish,but innocent, lovely and kind.She is half human and half fox.

LANSHENG is a young scholar.
He is kind-hearted and responsible to others.But due to the responsibility he felt for his lover in the last life,he left his true love in this life,which I think is a tragedy.

HONGYU is mature,kind,smart and beautiful.

QIanshang is bold and generous,he wants a free life and hates the loads others put upon him.So he wants to forget the past.

Inside Shaogong's gentle appearance, he is extremely lonely and kind of insane.

Now let me tell you the main part of the story.
In Remote Antiquity,there was an immortal called TAIZI Chang Qin

he loved playing Ku' Chin in Mount Yaowhere he became intimate friends with a viper called Qian Yu.

In the time when the main characters appeared on stage, the part of the soul named himself Ou Yang Shaogong.

He made use of

to find out where Fen Ji was,and after that killed almost every villager who guarded the sword,including Han YunXi.The village head,who was Han’s mother,moved the soul from the sword into her son’s body to protect the sword.

Because of the power of the spell,the mother died and Shaogong fainted.

When Han Yunxi woke up,he found that he lost his memory and his family. He named himself Bai Li Tusu.He was adopted by Zi Yin who taught him martial art and protected him in Mount.Kunlun..

When Tusu’s mother was pregnant with him,she once was infected by Fen Ji.So Tusu was born with some problems.He would sometimes lose his mind and become violent enough to kill people. So he always kept distance from others to avoid harming them. However, he was slandered by his fellows that he killed his junior fellow apprentice.


He didn’t know how to defend himself,so feeling helpless he wanted to find out about his past and left Mount.Kunlun.
That’s when he met his later lover and friends.

Feng Qingxue(风晴雪) was looking for her elder brother when she met Tusu,and to make fun,she took the ancient sword Fen Ji from Tusu.

Because the sword was very important to keep Tusu from becoming violent,he chased Qingxue to get it back.

Later Tusu lost control,after a fight he fainted.And Qingxue found she could use her spell to help Tusu feel better,

and after they became familiar,she was kind enough to keep him company so he would not suffer that much.

Later Tusu gradually met other friends,Fang Lansheng(方兰生) and Xiang Ling（襄铃）,

whom he saved from some monsters,

Hong Yu（红玉），who was sent by Zi Yin to protect Tusu,

Yin Qianshang(尹千觞)，who was actually Qingxue’s brother and Shaogong’s friend,but didn’t think himself deserve that good a sister.

But Shaogong found Tusu and began his plan to get his soul back.

He disguised as Lansheng’s friend and cheated their trust.

Tusu believed his words that there was a medicine that could bring his mother back to life.

So They set off to find it.

They met a fortuneteller.

She said Tusu would have a miserable life,

so Tusu was depressed,

but his friends gave him support,especially Qingxue.

In their journeys,a lot of unexpected things happened.

When Tusu met a powerful rival who tempted him to kill people,he struggled a lot.

but finally he controlled himself from becoming violent and merciless and killed the rival.

When he got out in exhaustion,everyone was afraid,

but Qingxue bravely walked ahead and hugged him.

They went through rainy and shiny days

Because of the time limit,I can just show you the pictures of these wonderful places they had been to.

Tusu gradually felt warmth and opened his heart to the world

However,during that time he found out that because he had a incomplete soul,he would never be able to die peacefully and have a next life.

If he died,he would disappear completely.

If he didn’t,he would become mad and violent eventually.

What's worse,Shaogong set conspiracy to torture Tusu,enjoying seeing him in agony and desperation because if Tusu lost control,he could get the soul back.

The medicine they finally found was actually some kind of poison.When Tusu’s mother took it and woke up,he was exhilarated.

However,once his mother walked out in the sun,she disappeared into the air.Tusu almost got insane,

but thanks to Qingxue’s company,he controlled himself.
翻
To find out more, they managed to go to the place where dead people lived
翻
and found Tusu’s mother’s spirit.
翻
Tusu understood what had happened many years before in the village,which was heart-breaking.

But Tusu is tough enough that he would never give in to destiny.
翻
He didn’t blame his mother,instead,he was grateful.
翻
Finally they got to know everything Shaogong had done.

Shaogong killed a lot of people including lansheng’s sister.

and threatened Tusu with Qingxue’s life to give up his soul.

His friends were heart-broken,
翻
but thinking that he would have no good ending anyway,he decided to sacrifice himself to save more people.

Tusu begged Zin Ying to remove the seal inside his body and let out his hidden power.

Finally,Zin Ying gave in.
翻
On their way to Penglai,Shaogong's wife Xun Fang appeared,whom he had thought was dead.

She wanted to stop him from killing more.
翻
And after they reunited,

Shaogong still wanted to kill Tusu,so Xun Fang released Qingxue and

told Shaogong a truth
翻
that she couldn't live any longer and she wanted to spend her last days with him in peace.

But Shaogong still wouldn't give up.

After Tusu fought against him with his friends,he was almost exhausted.

Suddenly the scale of Qian Yu dropped out from Tusu's clothes

and that reminded Shaogong of the old days that he spent with Qian Yu in Mount.Yao,which shaked his mind

and finally he was defeated,

BUT He still couldn't be enlightened
翻
and he set fire trying to kill everyone.

Qianshang decided to die with Shaogong to keep him company.

and so did Xun Fang

Tusu used his last power to save the others.
Now let's see the sad ending.
When playing the game,I was deeply moved by all the great personalities the characters presented to me,especially Tusu's perseverance.I feel that there is always beauty in life even if miseries come to people.
I've made this plot as simple as I could and the story is much more complicated than I could explain here.And because of my poor translation,I guess some of you haven't understand what the story is about.And I'm sorry about that.So if you love ancient Chinnese culture and touching stories and beautiful classical music,you can give it a try.You will never regret it.
