Moments
When the royal baby gave its first cry
I was filled with joy.
Who’s as lucky as this newborn infant?
Perhaps none but wait, there may be one.
When the news delivered the national cheers,
In front of TV we sat with drink.
Grudgingly, you lost me ten pounds
As I said blue yet you said pink.
See, you’re where my fortune begins.
When the iron lady was laid to rest
I was buried in sad.
Who’s as strong as this figure of legend?
Beyond knowledge, I wonder if there is one.
When the flags were flown at half mast,
Against wind we stood in silence.
Being a hero never arises in our list.
Together we’d live long because
Neither is tough when either is lost.
Life is pieced together with moments
Like music composed with scores.
Even a tiny note goes wrong
It remains a wonderful song.
Used to be a solo till the day I met you.
Would you like to join me?
Take my hand and let’s play a duo.
In this story every character will fail;
We are the stars for a grand fairy tale.
