The fishermen shiver within your wake!
Pitiful boats under a sea of stars,
Tossed, turned, thrown, but they will never forsake
Their duty to float, striving to survive
In a world of endless water, alive.
Some are destroyed, some are capsized, but none,
None ever surrender to your attacks;
Their fleets may sink, their work may be undone,
Yet persistently, they keep fighting back.
They’d rather perish than accept defeat,
Believing that their lives are thus complete.
O Sea! How meaningless your waves have been,
How trivial to fishermen they seem!
