James Sutton reveals there’s more drama for the teacher
James Sutton has revealed that John Paul’s nightmare doesn’t end when he’s released from prison.
Fans will see him walk free during tonight’s First Look episode (May 16) on E4, but it will quickly become apparent that life behind bars has had a massive impact on the Chester teacher.
And James reveals he’s being forced to do someone’s dirty work on the outside.
He told Soap Squawk: “John Paul is quite nervous because he meets a pretty nasty figure in prison who’s basically making him do stuff for him on the outside.
"John Paul’s got lots of dodgy jobs to do when he gets out and it’s great seeing him try to handle all that.

"It’s really well written because you don’t know who it is until much further down the line, let’s just say he’s under a lot of pressure."
But it’s not just John Paul’s dodgy new acquaintance that has got John Paul feeling stressed out. James has teased: “On top of all that there’s more drama with the McQueens as well, especially Nana McQueen!”
Despite all the drama on screen, James has revealed he’s got something just as exciting to look forward to - the return of Jorgie Porter as Theresa McQueen.
He laughed: “I’m so excited to be getting Jorgie back as Theresa, we were all so sad when she left.
"She fits in so well here, she’s the funny lunatic running round the corridors dancing. She’s nuts but I love her, she’s a ray of sunshine."
