Question: Used as a verb in a sentence, what is the difference, if any, between the words REVERE and REVERENCE? I did not know, before today, that the word reverence can be used as a verb; I always saw it as a noun.
For example: “The ultimate moral law comes from God. The best expression of liberty is to reverence life. If we have no moral law and do not reverencelife, then….”

不懂。你不说我也不知道。是近义词？感觉是本来是个名词，有人把它当作动词用，然后慢慢获得接受。但是在牛津高阶，剑桥和朗文，它依然只是个名词；而在 Oxford Dictionaries 和 Collins 则有指出可以作动词用。
