Speaking of the oldest person, I would like to talk about Professor Cook. If my memory does not fail me, the first time I met him was in 2012 in shanghai when I was a freshman. He was about 72 years old at that time. He was an ordinary looking person from appearance. He was my professor of electronic engineering in my university. He has been famous by his hard-working ethic and always hailed by his students as the most outstanding scholar in his field. Also, he was a kind and warm-hearted person, who was always ready to help us in our study field. The deepest impression on me was his life attitude. He was quite optimistic towards everything in his life. He always said: “don’t let frustration, dissatisfaction and other negative feelings get you.” He has been in this position for the past fifty years and if everything goes fine he can continue for the next ten years I think. I consider him as my role model to follow in my own life. I hope that I can become a person just like him.
