The report from the NYPost also said that the Knicks are searching for a point guard this off-season and Lin may be on their list. But with the team not being attracted to Jeremy’s play on the defensive side of the ball, it could limit the amount of money or effort they out into signing him. Many teams will be going after Lin this summer.

The team has been a bottom Eastern Conference team for the past few seasons but they will be looking to spend big money this summer.

Jeremy was one of the best perimeter defenders on the Hornets this past season and he helped lead Charlotte to a top-10 defense in the NBA.

But it is clear that he is a better defender than he has been in the past. He is not a liability on that end of the floor.
