Access Hollywood has released this video preview of
Twilight, The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Little Ashes
star Robert Pattinson's film How to Be.
How to Be, in which Rob plays the barely hanging-on and
fairly unfortunate character Art, is coming to television
screens around the world on April 29th's ISC on-demand
channel and is making its way around festivals across the
United States as well.
One such festival was last week, and my friends over at
The Twilight Sisterhood got to one in Las Vegas.
According to Twilight Sisterhood,
Art is a beautiful mess and Rob did a great job breathing
life - or the lack of - into his character. Director,
Oliver Irving, excellently shows us Art's internal
struggles while doing so with quite a lot of humor. I
laughed, hysterically at times, while very nearly being
brought to tears at others. Art's friends are played by
Johnny White (Ronny) and Mike Pearce (Nikki) and they
were so fun to watch. A terrific cast of characters that
flawlessly revealed that none of them are even remotely
close to being "normal" themselves.
At present, the soundtrack for the film is faring very
well as it boasts a promise to release 250 signed copies
of the soundtrack (signed by Rob himself, of course) for
pre-orderers, and hosts three (count 'em, three) songs
by Robert Pattinson on the album as well.
On a separate note, Sam Bradley just broke it to me in an
exclusive interview last week that he and Rob have been
busy in Vancouver penning a new song that he calls
"great". Meanwhile, there are also talks that Rob will be
authoring and releasing an Indie album sometime in the
near future.
