你也许不会相信，我常常想象你是多么美好，多么可爱，但实际见了你面的时候，你比我想象的要美好的多，可爱的多。
You may not believe,
I often imaginedhow divine and adorable you can be.
But when I've seen you eventually,
you were even more divine and adorablethan I fancied.
你不能说我这是说谎，因为如果不然的话，我满可以仅仅想忆你自足，而不必那样渴望着想要看见你。
You cannot say I'm lying,
for if it's not true,
I will be content with merely missing you,
rather than die to see you so.
不要愁老之将至，你老了也一定很可爱，而且，假如你老了十岁，我当然也同样老了十岁，世界也老了十岁，上帝也老了十岁，一切都是一样的。
Don't worry about aging.
For you must be dazzling,
even when you're greying.
Besides, if your ages plus ten,
I will also grow ten years by then.
The whole world will be as such.
Even God will be ten years older as us.
All will stay the same, like us.
我只愿意凭着这一点灵感的相通，时时带给彼此以慰藉，像流星的光辉，照耀我疲惫的梦寐，永远存一个安慰，纵然在别离的时候。
Surely this transcending inspiration shall be plenty,
for it may bring consolation to usconstantly.
Like how the meteors glow,
my weary dreams are shining so.
Reassured within us permanently,
however apartwemay be.

朱生豪（1912年2月2日－1944年12月26日），著名翻译家。原名朱文森，又名文生，学名森豪，笔名朱朱、朱生等，浙江嘉兴人。曾就读于杭州之江大学中国文学系和英语系。1933年大学毕业后，在上海世界书局任英文编辑，参加《英汉四用辞典》的编纂工作，并创作诗歌。写有诗集多种，均毁于战火。同时还在报刊上发表散文、小品文。
