The Changes in My Hometown
My hometown has changed dramatically over the past decades. In the past, life was hard—houses were old and shabby, with narrow, dirty streets. Pollution was serious, with rubbish everywhere. Traffic was inconvenient, and few tourists came.
Now, great changes have taken place. People live in spacious and bright flats, and many own their cars. The environment has improved a lot: the mountains are greener, the water clearer, and the sky bluer. Every year, thousands of tourists from all over the world visit our town.
I feel proud of these changes and hope my hometown will become even better in the future.
