本人之前出现过使命召唤13僵尸模式致命错误error while opening initial menu的问题。
中文搜索解决此问题无果后，在外文引擎尝试搜索了一下，居然发现早已有解决方法。

Fatal Error: Error while opening initial menu FIX
If you get this error, there is a fix. (As long as you have someone else who owns IW on PC)
With the game closed (as in not having the game running), have a friend invite you to an in-game Spaceland lobby; join them from the Steam Invite. You should load into the match just fine, but your UI will be missing and your framerate will be tanking — THIS IS NORMAL. Have the host end the game, which should back you out to the custom match lobby with access to all of your loadouts. Make sure the host does NOT leave the lobby and lets you complete this checklist.
- reset your F&F cards to 5 “Fate” cards (Mostly the default ones)
- reset your Weapon Kits to NO attachments, NO variants and NO camos.
Once you do this, you should be able to have your friend start the match. If your UI loads (you can see your cards, ammo, character...) then the bug is fixed, and you can safely close (Safely as in leaving the game, backing out to the menu and click exit game), re-open it to access zombies.
