The star of the pay TV series Austin Stevens’s Most Dangerous proposed to 24-year-old Amy wilcher (pictured together) from North Rocks in the Namibian desert last month.
The pair met outside a Sydney restaurant last year when Wilcher recognized the 57-year-old from his film Seven Deadly Strikes, wooing him with a conversation about her pet python.
They plan to marry in December and divide their time between both continents, working on wildlife books such as The Last Snakeman, which Stevens just released.
